Business Micros Aluminium has been working in partnership with Beaufort Secure Design to implement what is regarded as the aluminium industry’s most advanced and effective software solutions.

The LogiKal software package has now been launched to Beaufort’s nationwide network of fabricators who manufacture windows, doors and screening systems primarily for the commercial market. Given the nature of the commercial work undertaken by these fabricators a number of key features are already inherent within the software package which already boasts over 150 customers nationwide on other systems.

Cross section drawings with direct links to AutoCAD and the calculation of ‘u’ values and structural analysis are standard within the main LogiKal solution. In addition, links to CNC machinery and automatic saws will also add to the ‘smarter’ approach and BM Aluminium has been working with the likes of Elumatec and Promac for some time with considerable success.
