Business Micros Sponsors 2010 Rome 2 Home Cycling Challenge
Rome 2 Home

Business Micros is the main sponsor of the 2010 GM Fundraising Rome 2 Home cycling challenge.

Three members of our team – Managing Director Graeme Bailey, Operations Director Keith Aspinall and Sales Manager Chris Bailey – are all taking part in the 1500 mile ride to help raise valuable funds for the Hope House Children’s Hospice in Oswestry.

Business Micros has long been a supporter of the GM Fundraising charity and both Graeme Bailey and Keith Aspinall have taken part in all three of the previous cycling challenges – Top to Bottom in 2005 from John o’Groats to Lands End, Tower to Tower in 2006 from the Eiffel Tower to Blackpool Tower and the epic 2008 Ride4 Hope across America, raising over £50,000 between them.

Now, the company has taken the decision to provide the funding necessary to allow the 2010 challenge to take place, in the hope that the 16 riders taking part will be able to exceed this year’s target of £50,000 for this incredibly worthy cause.

Each of the riders pays all of their own expenses throughout the ride and undertakes to raise a minimum amount for the charity, but our sponsorship will fund the additional essential costs such as hiring support vehicles.

The Rome 2 Home challenge begins on 11th June in the Italian capital and will take in the 26km long, 6500ft high Mount Ventoux stage of the Tour de France en route to the finish in Oswestry.
