The performance of LogiKal is heavily dependent on the underlying storage infrastructure due to its architecture. We strongly recommend using SSD or NVMe storage solutions. These types of storage provide faster read and write speeds compared to traditional HDDs, significantly improving the software’s performance, especially when handling large files or complex calculations. To ensure the proper functioning of LogiKal in the cloud, the software licensing dongle requires a tunnel to connect with the USB dongle plugged in locally. This must be a server dongle containing all the company licenses. This setup ensures that all licensing requirements are met and that users can access the software without any interruptions.

It may be necessary to connect to local network folders for exporting Saw and CNC files to the required locations. This ensures that all files generated within LogiKal can be easily and efficiently transferred to the necessary destinations within your network.

To maintain the smooth operation of LogiKal, it is essential to configure exceptions in your antivirus software. Please follow the guidelines below:

• Store the certificates with which the program application is signed. These certificates can be extracted from the logical *.exe files. Some antivirus software supports monitoring the operating system certificate store.
• Increase the trustworthiness level or assigned trustworthiness group in the antivirus software for:
  • The .exe/.dll files in the program directory.
  • The code signing certificate’s trust level.
• Set exceptions in the antivirus software for the following paths and files:
  • The Logikal directory, including all subfolders (e.g., X:\LOGIKAL or \UNC PATH\LOGIKAL).
  • The temporary directory (e.g., C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\OFCAS).
  • The ORGATMP folder (e.g., C:\ORGATMP).
  • Specific executable files, including X:\LOGIKAL\bin\iUpdate.exe.

To ensure proper communication and functionality of LogiKal, the following ports need to be opened:

• Server USB dongles communicate via TCP/UDP port 1947 and Broadcast within the local network.
• Downloads and uploads use passive FTP ports 50000 – 52000.
• Program updates use ports FTP 21 and 11965 (IP-Address: 84.201.70.172).
