Compact PC (Small Form) / PC

• Intel Core i3 or higher
• Windows 10
• SSD hard drive from 120GB
• minimum 4GB RAM RAM
• USB port if a barcode scanner is to be used
• USB port if a keyboard is to be used
• USB port if a PC mouse is to be used

Touch screen

• iiyama Multi-Touch Monitor – Edge to edge (Edgeless – anti-glare if possible)
• DELL-Touch Monitor (Borderless – anti-glare if possible)
• Size from 24″ inches recommended

Keyboard and mouse optional

(necessary if the screen keyboard is too cumbersome)

Alternative: All-in-one PC ‘s

2D barcode scanner

(for reading QR codes and barcodes)

Ideally, wireless scanners so that employees are more mobile in the workplace.

The dimensioning of a server is extremely individual and depends on many parameters.
Therefore, we recommend contacting our LogiKal MES support in advance.
Note: The use of a terminal server is not supported for the moment.

Recommended at least:

Application server

• Memory: 32 GB RAM
• Operating system: Windows Server 2019 or newer
• The following requirements must be observed: Windows Server Lifecycle (EOL)
• Framework: .NET Framework Vers. 4.7.2

Database server

• Memory: 32 GB RAM
• Operating system: Windows Server 2019 or newer
• The following requirements must be observed: Windows Server Lifecycle (EOL)
• Database using MariaDB (10.4.5) or MSSQLServer (2019).
• MSSQLServer does not recommend the Express version, as it is limited to 10 GB.

Database and application servers can physically be the same server.

Network recommendation

• LAN network recommended
• Wi-Fi may be possible under certain circumstances (a bad Wi-Fi network reduces the performance/speed of the MES)
• S/FTP cable (100MBit) recommended
• Firewall settings – port shares in the network must be observed
